Wyatt Quarles show a success
For those of you who weren’t aware, Dave, Nan, Jean, and Chuck, all took a few days last week to go to the Wyatt Quarles show last week, and as usual they found some pretty cool new things to bring to the store.
Here’s just a few of the things we’re looking forward to showing you in the coming year:
- Seedballz :: These things look so awesome. It’s a whole bunch of seeds (about a pack worth) all rolled together in a ball of sand and clay. You don’t even really need to plant these things properly, you just partially bury them, keep them watered, and then watch a cluster of plants grow!
- New planters :: We are always on the lookout for new planters and pots, and yet again we have some nice looking ones on order! We also have, along with these planters, a new product called Ups-a-Daisies®. What they allow you to to do is basically raise the planting level in your container without having to use masses of potting soil, and they come in a variety of sizes too.
- Solar Umbrellas :: Yes that’s right, not just umbrellas, but umbrellas with solar lights in them. How cool is that!! We’re even getting one that’s a whopping 10′ across. That ought to keep the hot Summer sun at bay a little bit!
- Short Stature Birdbaths :: We had some last year and you loved them, so we’re getting more this year. These pretty birdbaths have a shorter pedestal on them making them less likely to topple over, and also allowing them to fit into a wide range of landscapes.
Keep in mind this is just a sampling of the items we’re getting, and as the saying goes, “there’s plenty more where that came from”!
