Calculating mulch needed

How Many bags of mulch do you really need to cover that natural area? Hopefully these calculations will help you.

To figure your total Cubic feet:

LengthXWidthXDepth = Total Cubic Feet

Cubic feet divided by 2 = No. of bags needed (2Cf bags)
Example:
An area of 10×12 = 120square feet
times that by .25 (3″ depth) = 30Cubic feet
Divided by 2 = 15 bags required to cover the area
